When Rize fits
Rize offers automatic app and website tracking, AI categorization, focus insights, and exports. Its pricing page describes a subscription with a trial.
If your question is where your attention went and how to shape better focus habits, that is Rize's stated focus.
When Orson fits
Orson already schedules work-app opening and offers visible, limited local awake/activity controls. Its planned opt-in timeline stays encrypted on the Mac, with separate approval for screenshots and text recognition.
The intended report flow is to review idle gaps, edit client and project entries, and inspect billable totals before export. Orson does not yet offer a working report UI, and an awake Mac is not evidence of productive work.
Which one fits?
Choose Rize if you need focus insights and automatic tracking today.
Follow Orson if scheduled app setup and a reviewed contractor timesheet are the combination you want when it ships.
