Orson software terms.

Effective September 23, 2026. Orson is provided by Rude Company LLC.

License

A one-time Orson Pro purchase grants one person a non-transferable license for activation on up to two Macs. The free features may be used without registration. You may not resell, publish, or share a registration code.

AI credits

Orson Pro includes the number of lifetime AI translations stated at checkout. Credits are consumed by AI requests that return successfully. Local and offline features do not consume credits. AI service availability is not guaranteed when third-party services or networks are unavailable.

Authorized use

Use Orson only on devices where you are authorized to install it and in compliance with workplace policies and applicable law. Orson is not designed for covert monitoring, evading administrative tools, or misrepresenting completed work.

Private timeline

Orson is not yet available for download. At launch, timeline tracking will require consent. Screenshots and on-device text recognition will have a separate consent control. Review your time entries before using them for client reports.

Payments and refunds

Stripe processes payments. Request a refund by emailing support@meetorson.com within 30 days of purchase. This voluntary policy does not limit rights under applicable consumer law. A refunded or disputed license can be blocked online; a Mac that stays offline may continue using an already issued certificate until it reconnects.

Warranty and liability

The software is provided as-is to the maximum extent permitted by law. Rude Company LLC is not responsible for presence-service behavior, lost time records, employer decisions, or indirect damages. Nothing here excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
